I want to configure my google apps email account (this one:
shahr...@linux.org.bd ) in kmail.
for a normal gmail account (tariq...@gmail.com ) I gave the email id,
password set pop as pop.gmail.com and smtp as smtp.gmail.com

check the permission of the file ./mozilla/firefox//bookmark.sqlite
you might also delete the profile and start anew

ফায়ারফক্সে আমি শুধুমাত্র forcast এডঅনটা ব্যবহার করি। এটাও অনেক আগে
থেকে উইন্ডোজে থাকাকালীন সময় থেকে ব্যবহার করি। কিন্তু কখনও বুকমার্ক না
থাকা বিষয়ক সমস্যা হয়নি।

your firefox settings are saved under .mozilla folder
firefox bookmarks are saved as sqlite database named 'bookmarks.sqlite' in
your profile folder. Probably the permission of this
System→Administration→Software source
Into Ubuntu software tab select Download from: Main server.
Now, open a Terminal and type:
sudo apt-get clean
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get upgrade

Try to clean and purge everything in apt. Then disable kubuntu-ppa.
Cross your finger and reload your repo.

thanks. no error message. just type 'firefox' and press enter and it
runs. i've tried a different way. made a folder in bookmark menu.
saved my bookmarks in this folder. nothing has changed since
yesterday.

Its best you just delete the .mozilla folder and start again. I guess you
don't have any bookmarks in there. so its safe to delete the profile folder
and start again. that should fix the problem.
