Hello all,
I am using Kubuntu. I want to access using the root user. I could set a
password for root user and enable root login on Ubuntu. But I can't find it
in Kubuntu. Help me please.

Never ever login with root. There is nothing that cannot be done as a
super user. If you still need to login to root, then use su to switch
user, but never login as root.
You can enable root user just by setting a password for root. Which is done by -
sudo passwd
One more time, never login as ro

Dear all,
How can I build Graphical and Command line softwares for Kubuntu? I have
python 2.6.2 in Kubuntu. That'd help me develop command line tools. But what
about GUI ? On windows, I have TK built in with Python.
Please help me out.

The concept of using root user is entirely discarded. So, learn to
play around without actually using the root user.

You can try wxPython, which is free for everything. There is also
outstanding PyQt. But you must build open source software or
non-distributable software with it, if you do not pay for the license.
Tk is available for any platform.

You don't have to start another bash inside a bash. Just use sudo -s
That will do the same as su.

You can use a lot of tools to develop GUI using python, Look around in
Package manager, wxWidget is very well known, I have worked with GTK which
is quite easy and simple.
