░ My ideas about offline repository ░
⟹ For home users (actually for the most users) the repository should be
stripped down into an one dvd with the most demanded software (restricted
extras, gimp, inkscape, vlc, avro, blueman etc). Because for the general
purpose, out of 30,000 packages of Ubuntu

I use Gp's 1Gb net connection. Once I wanted to work on database. OS gives
word, spreed sheet and presenter by default in open office. So I searched
net and found obase. But when I wanted to download it i found that it is a
large file, my slow net connection and limited internet package is

My personal opinion would be not going for a repo.
Rather distribution of custom installable Ubuntu or variant as was the
attempt in our adda which flawed due to lack of time and QA check. Keeping a
repo would be waste of time and resource(money no doubt) as Sarim already
