The solution is to completely remove Acroread then re-install then the
offending package that is preventing the new version 9 to complete...

I use a Pinnacle 72e (DiB7000) and this works out of the box from ubuntu
intrepid (8.10) onwards... any earlier then you need to apply kernel patches
etc... This is however (72e) only a single channel receiver and it might be

thing. We need to establish the goals of what/who we are to be before we
can decide how take on the task.

your backup, you included this directory! So if you did, then once you
have Gramps installed you can then copy that hidden directory into your
home directory. You will get a prompt to update the database for each
family tree you have.
