I figured it was time to actually _do_ something instead of discussing
how we should do it. I've attached a sort of bullet point list of what
needs to be done. We have two deadlines.
- Artwork 2005-09-29
- Release 2005-10-13

accepted (hopefully ;-P). It's called "Child's Play" or "Riding the
Breeze" as an alternative title. I would like to apply it for the

I like the fox. One thing though. When you scale it down to roughly
panel/menu icon size the globe behind it won't be very visible. I don't
know if this is fixable by touching up a few pixels, but I doubt it. The
fox alone would definitely do good (after some pixel touch up), but
inexperienced user
Is there no way to manage something you've added to art.ubuntu.com? I'm
looking for a way to do revisions/updates or just add new image
formats... I assumed that this was possible since there's a "version"
entry in the submission form.

About the images:
It is based on a photograph I took myself in Ogmore, Wales. You will
find both left and right versions (horiz flipped). The main reason for

images myself (damn masters thesis), I figured I'd better post my

Not exactly sure what your problem is, but here goes anyway :-) You have
to upload the images to some external place first. I upload mine to
www.skim.dk/breezy. Then in the submission form you type in the url.

Yes. I must say that the splash is really great. The wallpaper is good
too, but somehow the contrast circles (magenta especially) sticks out a
bit too much for my taste.

I think we should clean up the wiki table listing the themes asap. As we
agreed upon, we should remove the themes without a responsible.
Also it should prolly be redesigned to something like:
Theme Name ||| Concept Idea ||| Progress ||| Responsible
Which icon/metacity/gtk themes it will use is r

I've tried glossing up the Graphite-Heat theme to be a bit more silvery.
Basically - what I've done is to lighten menuitem preligts, lighten
buttons from the background.
I also lightened menu backgrounds a bit, to make them stand out
better[1], and played with a "contrast" switch I found in the

It seemed the momentum of the Heat/Graphite theme died out a bit.
Therefore I went on and finished the wikipage for it myself - listing
myself as responsible. If I step on anyones toes, I'm sorry, but we need
