Hi guys,
It seems I had a bug of the list and received ~50 of your message in a
single digest. Here's what I think of :
* The animated, "live" wallpaper : it'a good idea, as long as it doesn't use
more than 5% of CPU or GPU (better), and if this is realized, we have to
check if it's really that e
nsistent, to fit the hope of a
beautiful new theme. Now where should we start ? For the moment, as the list
hasn't been very active, there's nothing really defined, so what I suggest
is a meeting very soon on IRC, to discuss about this hard task.
Cheers,
Steph.

. If you really want to
publish some clean codes, then you've got to check out all those hacks, and
see what can be implemented, or not, until next release. Filling bugs is a
good idea, but I think developpers won't care as if it was a hack.
Furthermore, a hack is already thought to be implemented : it's already some
code.

Steph.

Hi all,
I just wanted to know from wich country is everybody here, and wich language
do you speak (might be useful). I thought about a new "Member Page" on the
Ubuntu Wiki, section Art, but maybe it's too private for some of us ?
I'm Steph, 17 years old and living in Montpe
replacing the buttons with some clear
ones like in the Human theme would be nice. Can you do this Tonic ? I think
we should work on this project a bit, then post it on Gnome-look and see its
evolution. Right ?

By the way, if someone knows any good tutorials for modifying GTK2+ Themes,
I'll be glad to see them and start working...

Concerning photos as wallpapers, I do think it's a great idea. And I must
admit that's the best point so far I remember of Windows Vista.

Hi everybody, first thing I'll ask is to forgive my English, I'm French.
It has been said on the french forum that Ubuntu was actually very ugly. Go
to your friends's houses, boot on the Live CD and you'll see most of them
saying "creepy ! I'll keep Vista !". And we have to admit that the only goo
Great work ! It's beautiful.
However, Ubuntu's logo isn't a priority. I mean it's not the most ugly thing
in Ubuntu. We should work on a new default theme for Ubuntu instead,
actually we're discussing about it on the french forum :
