in the appearances menu and click Install (lower right corner). Then you

that people like? (question not aimed at those who like the peach/salmon
thing, obviously). Is it just about the window borde

internet as a resource to begin with. I don't think Ubuntu's payoff would be
worth the effort. People like what they like. They know where to get it or
how to look for it. Whether it is pics of the kids, their favorite
celebrity, or some swirly gradient grunge design.

It allows for choosing which colors you want from the appearance menu, or a
gradient. That way you can make it darker or lighter to match your
preference. I think I need to tweak the transparent parts though.

Have you tried Liberation Sans? I think it's a great choice. As I mentioned
earlier, Firefox in particular, when changed from within preferences, looks
much more crisp and clean. I don't have much experience with the other
Liberation fonts, though.
