There has to be a timing problem in the below code that causes an AV and
that should be the source of the server stopping problem. Does anyone see
it?

Yes of course. They are used to multicast that is sending data to multiple but
not all hosts.

multiple blocks when using HTTP 1.1. I don't know if it will help you,
