https://launchpad.net/~jesstess/+archive/twisted-testing2 has Twisted
core packages for Natty, Maverick, and Lucid. They build with
pbuilder, I installed them in VMs and ran the test suite, and exarkun
gave a quick once-over. Let me know if you notice anything awry.

some fumbling around with Natty and I have since moved the work to a
personal PPA so it doesn't pollute the twisted archive while I test

Well, it works, but this way only one package is assembled. Default
Debian packaging consists of separate packages for every part of
Twisted, and breaking this pattern doesn't seem good to me.
