I followed the homepage link "archived by GMane", only to receive the
message: "Page Not Found".
Are these archives still available elsewhere, or they've gone for good?

Hi, thanks for noticing. I recall GMane archive had some problems couple of
months ago. Perhaps they haven't restored everything yet.
