Exponential backoff might an answer, I guess - the remote server looks
sick, but we'll poke it periodically to see if it's recovered :)

Is there a known issue with changes to the SMTP auth password not being
stored? I just ended up having to edit the config file manually ... Running
trunk as of a few days ago..

I've finally gotten around to setting up Trojita 0.4.1 again, currently
against a test Gmail account. Periodically Gmail seems to close the
connections with "BYE system error" or similar, and Trojita doesn't seem to
reconnect after that. Is there a workaround? Or is this fixed in trun
