I was using chrome
deluge was running in the background
I got 3 quick error messages that other apps were shutting down but I
didn't get the names
Then, all applications disappeared from screen
running desktop UI but NO apps
All running apps just stopped.
No error message

after the third ubuntu 19.1 system crash...
I have tried using apport-bug and got nowhere... and then I found that
this bug is very very old.

I was trying to fix the files/nautilus NOT working then went down a rabbit hole
until I came here. Files/nautilus is still not working and I'm having same
problem of unattended upgrades.
I've attached the term.log as well.

I put the computer in hibernate
I came back and pressed start button to reawake machine.
No response.
Black screen.
Had to force hard reboot to get machine back to functional status.

journalctl -b -1 -e

Probably can close this bug unless there is something in the journal
that SHOULDN'T be there.
