Same here. Issue still on going with zesty 17.04 and quite painfull to deal with. One other approach is to re-symlink resolv.conf to /run/systemd/resolve/resolv.conf but openconnect then update /run/resolvconf/resolv.conf making this a total mess. I don't get it, this should be fairly trivial...
