I am also seeing very similar effects. The menu doesn't show the wifi
connection points at all and sometimes the network icon in the top panel
disappears completely. As others have found control via Settings works

are using Xubuntu. This bug is about Unity, where it has been fixed.
If you have a problem on Xubuntu you should file a bug for that or

Is bug #1499575 (gnucash crashed with SIGABRT in g_assertion_message())
which seems to have a similar stack top probably the same issue? It is
causing gnucash to be completely unusable on Wily (for me anyway).

It is the same situation with v3.16-utopic. Closing the lid with ext
monitor connected causes windows to move to ext monitor but does not
suspend.
I have discovered another symptom that may possibly be related. With

On up to date Yakkety if I specify my Netgear router as the DNS server (via
Network Manager) then DNS lookup takes about 30 seconds. I see the delay when I
run, for example,
systemd-resolve www.google.com
or
wget www.google.com
I do not see the same delay if I run
nslookup
Having updated the router to the latest firmware (5.01.17) the problem
appears to be resolved (even though the release notes made no mention of
DNS. Marking this bug as invalid.

I am marking this New again as it has not actually been fixed by
upgrading the router. It now appears that the symptom is intermittent. I
have not been able to determine what it is that triggers it to fail or
work.

I have the situation where a package cannot be upgraded because of missing
dependencies. However
sudo apt-get dist-upgrade
and
sudo apt full-upgrade
and
sudo apt upgrade
all show
0 to upgrade, 0 to newly install, 0 to remove and 0 not to upgrade.
Only
sudo apt upgrade
shows
Sorry, it is apt-get upgrade that shows 1 not to upgrade.
