After further reading on the subject, I guess that the problem is the
size of over 2 GB. All other thousands of files (incl. hardly further
compressible mp3, jpeg, mpeg etc.) are synchronized without problems.
Under ubuntu 20.04 LTS the problem did not occur.

I've tested the proposed package by only upgrading to wpa_supplicant
2:2.10-6ubuntu1 and no other proposed packages.
After rebooting I'm still not able to connect to our enterprise network.
We are also using MSCHAPv2 + PEAP + No CA Cert for authentication.
Live Boot of 20.04 can connect fine

On a Dell 7000 Micro (Intel 12700T), plugged into mains power,
on_ac_power reports false.
As the micro computer is plugged into mains power, I had expected it
instead to report true.
