Hi, I have a problem with lock screen function with Ubuntu 22.04. When I
activate this feature, the system hangs and cannot be restored. You must
turn off/on PC to restore session. I suppose that this issue is
connected with AMD Video card RX6500XT and bad video driver which i
In my case I am using Lenovo yoga slim7 and install pop-os with 5.16.19
kernel. I am able to generate audio output, but failed at input devices.
Any help is appreciated.

Hi Brian,
I finally tested the new packages on Ubuntu Core 18 (with the bionic
packages) and Ubuntu Core 20 (with the focal ones). I first tried to reproduce
the issue in Ubuntu Desktop, by making /etc/groups and /etc/passwd read-only
and indeed I couldn't add my user to a group, but unfortuna
I thought we patched that warning out. Do not read it :D
Notably this is the only supported layout.

This sounds like a hardware problem, most likely just new batteries are
required.
Wired mice or wireless with a dongle use the same code paths so clearly
that's working for some mice. I don't think there's any software bug
here.
