For reference, the chromium-browser package in focal and upwards is a
simple wrapper that installs the chromium snap, and it has a custom
apport hook that attaches some of this information. The names of the

Do you have both pulseaudio and pipewire audio enabled simultaneously?
At least system log suggests pipewire with session manager is also being
activated, this could cause issues if both attempt to restore volumes
for some reason.

fixes described online to no avail. It seems that when using the live
mode off of the boot flash drive audio works fine. Alsamixer reports
bytcr-rt5640 as sound card. however once installed no audio. alsa
FYI I am working on merging apparmor-3.0.4 from debian unstable to jammy
at the moment which should resolve this.

On my desktop after a lot of new updates the sound level is NOT reset at
reboot.
I see pipewire and pulseaudio are both installed but i don't know if
they are active.
