My work around is to kill the initctl if/when I restart; I haven't
noticed any adverse effect on anything I do on a daily basis and it is
running more than 2+ weeks with no sign of initctl going crazy. Since I

Launcher hides pressing a bit the left edge

I'm using Ubuntu 17.04 dev with diffutils 1:3.5-1 and currently only the
lines are colored for added/removed ones. Maybe the differences in the
lines which characters are added/removed can be colored too (for example
- with a higher opacity) to make them easier to see
While the new version of the package worked for me, so did apt version
1.2.18 - shouldn't it have failed?

Steps to reproduce:
1º Open camera app
2º Change to video mode and press record button
Current result: screen freezes, then after a while
For which .crash files do you notice this happening with? Its likely
the package has an apport package hook which is trying to use a UI to
ask you questions.

debug::acquire::http=1
Maybe thw redirect changed and the test case this started working again?

@mpt from my understanding of the original designs, content picking was
one of the use cases. There was a desire to open the source app in a
trust prompt for the duration of the content picking operation. Keeping
the users work flow from switching focus to another app, we are
embedding the source

Unfortunately the kernel overmounting security check won't let you do
so.
This security check is there in the event that /home/blah contains some
files which the /home/blah mount hides. Now allowing an unprivileged
user to bind-mount /home without /home/blah on top of it would un-hide
those files,

But it's been almost 4 years since this issue was reported, and over 2
years since I added my comment, and it's clearly not fixed yet, or even
prioritised.
