Removing the _apt user as a suggested work-around does not work for me
on Ubuntu Server upgraded fro 14.04 to 16.04.

This has been happening to me too. A program crashes, and the dialog
pops up showing the sigsegv etc and then I click to report the crash,
but the dialog closes and no browser window opens.
It's really bad... lots of crashes must be going un-reported on 16.04!

I am still seeing this bug with 15.10 r14. The top of the today scope
seems to get truncated whenever there is not enough data on the scope's
page to fill the screen.
This means if I have the date, weather, messages, activity and Twitter

Same problem here, even worst. As soon as webbrowser starts it can
freeze the desktop screen, keyboard and mouse.

Seems like whatever is calculating the flick/fling velocity is to blame.
It feels like that code is incorrectly handling touchpad scroll events
(which are much more numerous but lower magnitude than a wheel) as
having a high flick velocity.

Patch to initialise Qt printer dialog with CUPS settings
There is a Qt code review, https://codereview.qt-project.org/#/c/32127/,
with a patch for initialising the Qt printer dialog with all the CUPS
settings, including default printer, duplex mode and greyscale/colour.

Tried doing a fresh install of Ubuntu 16.04 on my rig outfitted with an
HD 7850, and it crashes on boot due to my AMD card installed. When I
removed the AMD card I was able to boot into Ubuntu. AFAIK, the drivers
with Ubuntu should support this card even though it is older,

Epson multifunctional device L210 Issue. scan applications cannot
connect to device. Deb drivers from epson installed. And Sane installed
through synaptic.. Still Not working. It was ok with 14.04. please help.

In an ideal world the -d would get moved out of the /etc/default file
and into the sysvinit/upstart job. The "-d" is *not* a thing that users
can configure, it's an intrinsic property how the corresponding init
script wants/expects the daemon to start. It should never have been in
the default file
