This happens to me in Ubuntu 16.04. I have bluetooth dongle, when I plug
it I got many messages from bluetoothd, it started with
bluetoothd[8019]: Failed to obtain handles for "Service Changed"
characteristic.
I temporary fixed it doing this: stop bluetooth, kill bluetoothd and
obexd, start blueto
This still happens to us on 14.04.4 with ldap (+ autofs + nss). I'll be
trying the proposed fix #43.

creation worked find for me on 14.04-15.10, but then I tried adding an
EWS account on 16.04, and it repeatedly failed to appear.
After killing *all* evolution-related processes and restarting, it

I installed network-manager-gnome version 1.2.2 available in yakkety.
After preliminary testing (a couple of suspend cycles) it seems to have
fixed the problem!

HDMI sound output not detected /
I'm the original submitter of this bug. I ended up reinstalling Ubuntu
14.04 because of this issue, as Gimp is an essential package for me and
it was unusable because of the crashes.
Today I tried installing the new Ubuntu 16.04.01 release in a spare
partition in the hope that it had been fixed, b
OP here- forgot to mention, attempted use of ardour4, which found alsa
to be stopped. Pressed start button & it did. Then it failed.
Tried youtube video in firefox. Failed there too.
Tried a dozen or so ideas from Internet forums to no avail.

Clean install of 16.04. Can successfully pair, connect, and play music
through Amazon's Echo. However, Jaybird X can pair, and when it
connects, it disconnects within 3 seconds.
With the Jaybird, it even notifies me with the successful connection,
but disconnects a couple seconds later.
