I have now downgraded the UITK packages to

Tried to reproduce by installing lxc version from vivid release, then
upgrading to -updates, but it worked fine :(

on OTA-8.5 my Nexus 4 isn't usable any more. The launcher can't be
shown, the gestures from the left side won't work any longer. I
