To me it sounds like issues with location in general, I wouldn't do
special casing for camera. If the GPS is enabled from system settings,
and geotagging is enabled for the camera, it should Just Work (at least
outdoors) .
There have been several complaints on the phone mailing list about the
GPS
Just wrote a test that reproduces the behaviour described here. It
looks like the code correctly tidies up the inotify watches for the
moved subdirectory, but doesn't remove the moved files from the index.

Easily reproduced just by taking 10 pics and switching to the gallery, 4
of 10 did not have thumbnails. Restart the app and they all show up. I
did not get a crash.
