[Summary]
MIR team ACK under the constraint to resolve the below listed
required TODOs and as much as possible having a look at the
recommended TODOs. This is a case with a few more tasks, yet on the other
hand I understand this was in main back when we didn't hold

The Ubuntu wiki is slower than usual, perhaps related to the current
Launchpad timeouts etc. So we're pasting a draft of our test plan here
and we'll move it to the wiki when it's working better.
