Its because its not synced the frequency between the output and input.. In other words, if you play a 96 kHz audio (or 48 kHz audio) via a 44.1 kHz output, it gets faster "trying to squeeze everything in the 44.1 kHz stream".. It could be a problem at your digital input (yamaha), but I dont think
