Thanks, but the required info is still missing.
The critical file from 15 October unity-system-compositor.log is zero
bytes, and your unity8 logs have not been touched since 5 October. So it
sounds like unity-system-compositor.log will hold the answer. Please try
copying it again as root (sudo).
Here you go, this should be everything you asked for.
If there's any other way I can help, let me know.
I also ran the command you asked, so hopefully everything's in order.
