icon does not change in silent mode
Can't replicate this on Meizu - the sound indicator icon changes as
expected. Seems to be a bq specific bug?
So the desired functionality would be to change the volume indicator to
the one with the cross next to it, when phone is in silent mode.

Mee to, I have the same problem. Is on Silent mode, but the symbol is
like normal sound. I am on BQ device.

That's indeed quite annoying, I activated silent mode while I was at a
spectacle the other day and then forgot it was on for a full day and
missed some calls, it's not the first time...
