No, the printer does nothing. As I explained, this is not a problem with
the connection as the test page prints fine and I can also print fine
from Firefox. I noticed it was reporting everything as having printed
fine, which is why I was so confused and unable to find any useful
debugging info.

Your error_log suggests that the job got correctly printed, also when I
try to print the attached PDF it comes out correctly for me.
What does your printer do? Does the light for incoming data blink? Is
paper coming out? A blank page?
Perhaps you have a USB problem. Follow the instructions of the
