I have a similar zoom issue with Ubuntu 17.10 (Xorg). Since I have a HiDPI display, I use the 200% scaling option and assume that this might be correlated with the issue. When I open a screenshot of 1246x878px, it is displayed in EOG at about the correct size, however is looks anti-aliased and E
