That sounds good. I hadn't thought of the possibility of a module option. I haven't submitted any patches myself and suggested sending several PCI_QUIRKs together (at least the ones identified in this thread for Yoga 9i 14IAP7) because I don't know the delays involved in the submission process..

Hi all, After several unsuccessful tries applying Philipp patch for Yoga 9 14IAP7, I realised I have a different lenovo sound device ID (0x381c instead of 0x3801). I added to the patch the following line: + SND_PCI_QUIRK(0x17aa, 0x381c, "Yoga 9 14IAP7", ALC287_FIXUP_YOGA9_IAP7_BASS_SPK_PIN
