It did freeze on both 304 and 340 drivers. I was able to reproduce it by simple playing youtube video (HTML5 player ). It did then freeze in between 10-30min. I have uninstalled Chromium a started to use Firefox instead. So far it is more stable and did not freeze after about 2h of playing videos.

I have used usb-creator-disk to make persistent Live USB form the ISO from: http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/daily-live/current/ But was not able to boot from it, got boot error message. Have no other way to test it on my machine. Virtual machine would not help as I need to install nvidia drivers. --
