I've setup the VPN to autoconnect on login. When I log in, the
connection keeps failing to establish. If I disconnect from the network
it's trying to connect to and click connect manually, it is able to
connect to the network and the VPN straight away.
Essentially, every time
I had to disable Evolution accessing the calendar in Online Accounts,
because the whole OS was completely unusable - as soon as I logged in,
indicator-datetime-service would eat up all of the memory and lock the
system up. That's it.

Yep, already have ran into that problem - rebooted and had no internet
due to NM repeatedly crashing. This is a severe issue.

I did the kernel updates this morning, restarted my computer, and had no
internet. Tried using an older kernel version, manually starting
NetworkManager, all the things - nothing works, there is no internet.
All NetworkManager is doing is crashing repeatedly and that's about
None that I've ever touched myself - I believe changing drivers tries to
edit it. Here's how it looks like for me right now:

I've got an external monitor plugged in via DisplayPort that always used
to come online in Ubuntu 15.04 after I resumed the laptop from suspend.
In 15.10 however, the monitor will often just stay black and it takes me
re-plugging the cable to bring the picture back on it.

I worked out that it happens to a window depending on its position in a
dual-monitor setup - attached is a video demonstrating the problem.

Sometimes when I undock the laptop, the display gets messed up (see
