I think that it would be really good if there was not just an auto-hide
option to hide the Unity Launcher but also a way of getting rid of the
Launcher by not just auto-hiding it, but actually turning it 'off'. For
this is the reason why I moved away from Unity and to GNOME be
@Raymond,from reading the description of that patch it looks like it
might be a regression of it.

So this is what happened, I just plugged in my headphones, and even though
before when I was using the volume was up almost full, the volume went to mute,
then I turned up the volume, and when I switched back to my normal speakers,
the volume went to mute again!

think that it would be good if there was an option which would mean that
APT would run something like:
sudo apt-get update; sudo apt-get dist-upgrade
