It looks like snd-hda-codec-cs8409 is already packaged in linux-modules-extra.
Have you tried installing linux-modules-extra-6.11.0-29-generic, or the version
of linux-modules-extra matching your kernel version?

this appears fixed in procps 2:4.0.4-8 (25.10), which includes
aforementioned patch as debian/patches/w_process_tty
This would need to be SRU'd.

The reason it doesn't affect releases before plucky is likely that there was a
switch from shadow to util-linux.
The limitation appears intentional.

Reproducing locally, there appear to be a bunch of apparmor denials in
the journal. I believe the lsusb apparmor profile needs a few more
entries.
I was able to work around by editing the /etc/apparmor.d/lsusb to grant
access to sysfs and restarting apparmor.

Stuck on applying p
I've been able to reproduce this bug consistently. It appears
python3-apt is at cause. If a non-utf8 locale is configured, apt will
returned descriptions in the preferred lang/encoding and python3 fails
to interpret them as utf8. Python2.7 did ascii conversion, returning
"lossy" unicode conversion
I tested successfully landscape-client and landscape-common packages
from {trusty,xenial,bionic,cosmic}-proposed. As in the test case, masked
systemd-logind.
After triggering reboots from landscape on all of those. All machines both
force-rebooted as would be expected, and surfaced the error to t

That workaround wouldn't work in Landscape for many configurations; we
can't assume pocket names as many use custom mirrors or repository
snapshots in which the pocket may not match.
It seems to me there is no simple way to resolve this automatically in
Landscape, but as that upgrade situation is
