booting with linux-image-5.4.0-52-generic solves the problem.
The selected output sink is bad but the 'line out' sink is present and can be
selected, as opposed to booting with linux-image-5.8.0-26-generic
the apport-collect will be with linux-image-5.4.0-49-generic, to show
the differences.

after login to my plasma session I noticed the following strange path in
some XDG env variables missing the : separator
pascal@minipc:~$ env | grep XDG

This is still not natively fixed in zesty even with ubuntu backport and
updates.
The workaround works but no applications like digikam can access
automatically to IOS 10+ iphones anymore.
Can someone at ubuntu do something to fix this definitly on the official
release please ?

Thanks for the procedures.
In the meantime, I had to reinstall in 64bits (I wrongly installed in 32bits)
and now i cannot reproduce this bug.
I can trigger another one but not this particular one. So for the moment I
cannot test further.

now the HW button is detected by networkmanager when pressed (a message appear
