Hi, sharing my workaround for this issue using docker image.

Does Ubuntu Budgie has TLP preinstalled? Thats would explain everything.

Started 1-3 days ago just after automatic ubuntu updates. Since then
whenever I start the browser(from desktop or terminal) it flashes as
only a border of a window and hangs system for 2-5 minutes and then
crashes, or does not appear at all but still hangs the system.

Happens here on Intel Compute Stick and Ubuntu 14.04.3 LTS, Trusty Tahr
Kernel: 3.16.0-45-generic
I have SSH server setup on the stick, so when I log in to it, I see that
other applications are running. The freezing occurs randomly.
