I can affirm that systemd-resolved is not getting its config from
netplan, nor does adding the nameserver in /etc/systemd/resolved.conf
have any affect. The only temporary fix is modification of
/etc/resolv.
Previously, I'm used /snap/chromium/current/usr/lib/chromium-
browser/chrome to start Chrome in kiosk mode in order to access file://
on local system.
Now all work as expected using latest version (2529) when I execute
using : /snap/bin/chromium

cycled... but kept going.. waiting for upgrade to complete PLEASE

OK I changed my account to an admin in hopes it would stop. But it still
gets stuck in the loop as soon as the Auto-Login feature is turned on in
Lubuntu.

I had the same problem with 1504 following the aided installation which
created the swap as a logical partition. I them reinstall but manually
created a primary partition for the swap and can no longer reproduce the

(and, just in case, I also tried 'systemctl restart network-
manager.service') and the behaviour is identical to smbd et. al. - it
hangs with subprocesses /bin/systemd-tty-ask-password-agent and
/usr/bin/pkttyagent.
