Not sure it is related, but I have what seems to be the same issue but I'm
still on 22.10. I see the following in dpkg.log:
2023-02-15 10:48:53 upgrade libusb-1.0-0-dev:amd64 2:1.0.25-1ubuntu2 2:1.0.26-1
I had no problems before, so to me it looks like that update might have
caused it. I will rev
Got the same issue upgrading from 16.04 to 16.10 and again from 16.10 to
17.04. Deleting the file worked. Sad that this is not fixed.
