systemd-cron 2;x with it's C++ rewrite in pretty good shape, could be
Ubuntu default cron even for 24.04

Hi Martin,
As member of upstream team; I've ran out of ideas or bugs to solve for
now.
You may add yourself as uploader and upload to experimental or unstable what
is now ready on Alioth
to let it mature further. (I guess only unstable does trickle to Ubuntu)
