I'm having this same problem with a different distro - it's the
raspberrypi "bookworm" distro. Everything works fine except that I get
these extra pages with "%%EndDocument" carriage return, a bunch of
whitespace and then "%%EOF". I take it this is a cups issue? Or maybe
it is a specific problem

Jammy and the error was not seen.
