help us find the cause of the crash please follow these steps:
1. Look in /var/crash for crash files and if found run:
ubuntu-bug YOURFILE.crash

Bionic doesn't even have the test runner, so I just added the new
segfault test as an individual script call.
Focal has the test runner, but many tests fail, so I'm using the runner
to run just this new test (as per your debdiff).
