This is the expected behavior of apt, and a deeply integral part of the

We think the problem is that in kinetic, binutils did not declare
/etc/gprofng.rc as a conffile (although it was shipped), but in Lunar
debian/binutils-common.conffiles was added. This means that dpkg thinks
the existing /etc/gprofng.rc was created by the user.

Several autopkgtest failures on Ubunt
netplan added support for configuring the regulatory domain in kinetic
and it works pretty nicely (it's one of the things I test before
release). However, that's relying on cloud-init to inject the netplan
configuration and that's only on the server images -- it's not a
solution for the preinstalle
Looking in the root directory of the first partition of the 23.04 beta
image contains 'network-config' think this is a user setting file,
forgot to set this while testing but I was using wired, as the file
contains:

New info on this issue.
I was trying to reproduce on ARM (and I did), but there is a but. And it's kind
of an important one.
Our ARM VMs had version 245.4-4ubuntu3.19 installed, and the issue was
not seen. When upgrading to 245.4-4ubuntu3.20, the issue appears.
So it seems that the
hard-coded overwrite of "/etc/nsswitch.conf" from sudo-ldap package
conflicts with sssd !

Hello,
Since the publishing of version 245.4-4ubuntu3.21 on focal-updates, we cannot
install our product.
Our product depends on specifically chrony for the time-daemon, but apt cannot
resolve the dependency anymore when systemd 245.4-4ubuntu3.20 is installed.
It might be

in use, otherwise it should automatically fall back to A2DP.

I found the issue. But I have no idea why. RustDesk blocks somehow the
mdns communication. That is also the reason why printing was so slow.
But with the last update of cups-browsed printing was not possible
anymore at all.

Thank you for your response Konrad.
I followed the docs for replacing pulseaudio with pipewire which worked well.
Now the bluetooth app offers more codecs to use.
I figured out "mSBC" offers the best quality.
Compared to A2DP it still sucks and sounds horrible.
You dont want to accept this if you
subscription file gets huge and ippfind runs permanent.
