Can confirm. The rear port works for my speakers, but when I plug
anything in to my front headphones connector it says it's selected for
output but no audio. Might be due to the ALC 4080 Realtek USB Audio chip
and support for it. Volumes are up.

I have this bug _but_ it went away about two months ago after some
updates but has returned with vengeance a couple of updates ago and
after the latest updates (including kernel and pulseaudio) it's really
borked.
Previously I'd have no sound until I did pulseaudio -k which would fix
everything.
