Thanks for the detailed bug report. I suspect the low polling frequency
has more to do with the kernel than with bluez, so reassigning there.
That is, unless the problem is one of interference. Please try moving
away from any strong 2.4GHz wifi access points and turning off other
bluetooth devices

On the 19.04 daily image (2019-03-24), the screen on my laptop is
completely upside down, from the moment the GUI loads. This does not
happen on 18.04 and 18.10.
It appears to be an accelerometer issue since holding the laptop upside
down flips the image

So I created a network bootable installation based on the 18.04.2 LTS
desktop download and I have the exact same problem. However none of the
workarounds are working for me. I have tried emptying the 10-glob

I'm a new Linux user, but I started with Fortran in 1968. I don't
usually get this stumped. I just signed in here to ubuntu single sign on
with no problem. When I try to sign in through settings, I get a pop-up
asking for authentication for Snap Daemon (it accepts my password) then
there is a pop-u
I found the fix. It seems funny but it is really fault of nvidia-driver-
xxx. It somehow modifies power settings of the system. I am using latest
Ubuntu 19.04 with 5.0.0-11-generic kernel but exactly same problem did
happen wit any previous Ubuntu version and also with recent versions of
Fedora.

I tested the 19.04 version right now and realized that my problem with the

I have been using 'date +%-Y -d "- 2010 years" in a script for years but
today after using the script after upgrading to disco it has failed.
After some experimentation it succeeds with upto 111 years but fails
from 112 onwards.
Error given is:
'date: invalid date '- 112 ye
After update to 1.1ubuntu1.18.04.10 on Bionic "unattended-upgrades
--download-only" using up 100% CPU and hangs. I tried to install
previous version 1.1ubuntu1.18.04.9 and this issue is gone.
