I *might* have a possible clue for the gdebi gui crash in Bionic.
If I right click on a .deb file and tell it to install with gdebi the gui will
crash.
If I open a terminal in the same directory as the file and launch gdebi-gtk
*.deb the gui will install and uninstall the .deb file without crash
Looking forward to 3.0.2 then. Whilst 4.18 is indeed not shipping the
thread in the lxc forum at least indicates that there are a few users on
the mainline kernel.
Like I just updated to 4.18 and then remembered the forum thread.
Want to close this as fixed then (with the upcoming release of 3.0.
3.0.2 will have the fix in the next few days, no need to rush for a fix
as Ubuntu isn't shipping 4.18 yet.

dpkg -i libpam-runtime* will throws an error cause it trys to symlink pam.7.gz
to PAM.7.gz since Windows filesystem is case*in*sensitive this both files are
