When I open bash and select Preferences. The Terminal Settings is much
taller than the screen size. I can't see the OK-Cancel-Apply buttons. I
need to use the mouse from the top of screen and reduce the size

Adding some detail here: Switching back to xorg reproduces the bug 100%.
I can click on the launcher, it seems to be the only thing that'll
receive my clicks while the bug is active, but new apps launched while
the bug is active are also unable to see mouse clicks.

I'm using Shotwell to Publish (ctrl+shift+P) photos to Flickr. Some of
these uploads take quite a while, so I'd like to do other things while
they're running. If I alt-tab over to Firefox or Slack or whatever, my
mouse works normally, but if I alt-tab back to Shotwell to peek

This occurs for me when I send inputs via a virtual uinput device i
created, which X auto recognizes and starts uses.
At first I started going crazy because at random times a button press
would not go through, then I finally saw this message and realized the
cause. Any solutions?

It ruined my last ubuntu upgrade completely and now it broke my previously
stable install out of nowhere after a simple apt-get upgrade.
