Juan's fix worked for me.
I find that I cannot slow down the mouse speed through both the system menu and
unity-tweaks, but i can get used to it i guess. It has tho given me back
middle-mouse-button click emulation by means of using left and right click
simultaneously, so this is a win win situ
it seems this bug have been solved.

headphone in BT pairing mode by first switching it on and then holding

Yes, I am. I just need to know what is permissible - we can add
IgnoreOnIsolate in a ubuntu patch but it seems like the source of the
issue is in network manager - it should detect that wpa supplicant is
not running and restart it dynamically.

Ok, rather marginal use-cases then :)
At least Mir allows this kind of request can be filtered by Unity8 in
future, to prevent this kind of thing being abused. Perhaps need a
system so that privileged clients can do this if they need.

On the UI Toolkit side, the introduction of MainWindow (bug 587431)
makes units window-specific - so long as Unity (or QtUbuntu, more
specifically) provides the right value, the resolution will be correct.

or code path coverage? That's the use case I'm concerned about - that
someone will come along and tell us that we regressed SPNEGO against
WebSpher
