Taglib 1.10 fixes this bug and a lot of other real life crashers.
Imho it is worth to put a 1.10 to the default update repositories.
This will improve stability of almost all media players.

So I started doing verification for this, found that the patches from
bug 1361946 are required, brought them up to date, and then the arm64
node I was testing fell over. Next week, I guess.

I have the samme issue on 15.10. Trying to move one lv from slow HDD to
fast SSD. dmesg tells me that a segfault has happened.

If I login, the resolution is not correct. If I fix the resolution
everything is fine until I logout (no need to reboot). If I login again,
