before OSK signals visibleChanged(). As a result the signal is captured

This affects me too.
This is on a modern PowerEdge T20 server but it uses the same RealTek
audio chip.
A workaround is to use one of the two methods:
1) Using pavucontrol, switch the output from "Speakers" to "Headphones
(unplugged)".
2) Using alsamixer, increase the "Headphone" volume and disa
Nevermind, it's not really any more or less frequent after the BIOS
upgrade.
One further thing I've observed is that the cursor duplication IS more
frequent if I have open windows near the edges of the screens where the
transfer is taking place. If it's just the desktop, then the cursor
