preceeds the prior bootup. this sort of thing happens because of
bug#1335522. and that would explain why it happened this time.

I found out that it has nothing to do with whether the second mouse is
connected to the PS/2 port or the serial port.
The mouse jumping also happens when connected to the serial port.

This seems like a bug that should be fixed in the LTS rather than
requesting a backport. The 3.2.11 version is available in trusty, but
it's only community supported and doesn't have the utilities built since
it's not the officially supported version. The version with 5 year
support from Canonica

I came across a SSL handshake problem with gnutls-cli when connecting to
some websites, see below. It is somehow specific to gnutls as
openssl/Chrome/

While Andrea works on a way to get proper debugging symbols, I have
uploaded a new package to the same PPA that reverts the potential fix
and also reverts rev. 3810 which is where we suspect the problem is.
Once the packages build and are published in the PPA, please try it out

I did some other tests using "Always on Top" feature.
1 - Open Gimp on multi window mode
2 - Open a terminal
3 - Set the terminal as always on top
4 - Go back to Gimp and press Ctrl + O (Open dialog)
