I had the same error message doing while fsck'ing one of my disks.
I did not understand well the cause of the problem. Is fsck what caused
the file-system corruption? (because of an "extent-mapped inode getting
written (or copied) to a different/wrong place in the inode table"?)

I'm also experiencing this exact problem for some months now (using
Ubuntu 14.10 and 14.04) with an Intel and Nvidia (Optimus) graphic
cards..
Workaround seems to work well here. The only thing is that my windows on
other workspaces are going back to the main screen, which is obvious.

37326 and it seemed to help.

First of all, to me this looks like a bug in Gtk+. Whatever triggers
this, the crash is ultimately caused by the failure to check return
values in _gtk_menu_tracker_item_new().
Second, if the indicator-menu is unsupported, what replaces it? I
believe it just worked fine a release or two back.

Andrea, you are right. I installed gnome-panel and indicator-applet-
appmenu, and still, emoticons are not shown on the global menu in gnome-

Anthony, this didn't make it into OTA-1 any more. It is in a silo,
however, due to the number of silos QA wasn't able to test/sign off all
of them. This fix is one of those that didn't make it. It'll be the
first thing to land in OTA-2 (if there is such a thing).

Yesterday I have upgraded my kernel to 3.13.0-37-generic and battery
started to charge :) ... Could be that the bug has been solved. I have
not let my notebook run ot of battery which temporarly soved an issue
before. I will see in a few days if this bug happens again.
